The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

CP ‘R’ US’s basic life support courses have three certification process options to obtain an American Heart Association Certification.

There are two options to an AHA certification Instructor- Led and Blended Learning.

Our instructor-led courses are designed to provide a comprehensive and interactive learning experience, ensuring that you gain the skills and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. Led by experienced instructors, our courses combine video observation, hands-on skills demonstration, and a multiple-choice question test to offer a well-rounded training experience. Key Features of Our Courses: Video Observation: Engage in dynamic video sessions that enhance your understanding of life-saving techniques. Our expert instructors guide you through essential concepts, ensuring you grasp the material thoroughly. Hands-On Skills Demonstration: Practice and perfect your skills through hands-on demonstrations led by our certified instructors. Certification Process: Upon completing the course, you'll face a 25-question test for Basic Life Support (BLS) and a 60-question test for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Pass the test, and you can obtain your American Heart Association (AHA) Electronic certification card on the same day as the course completion. Course Options: Initial Courses: Designed for first-time candidates or those with expired certifications, our initial courses provide a comprehensive learning experience. The course duration is approximately 4 1/2 hours, depending on the accuracy of the hands-on skills demonstration. Renewal Courses: Tailored for providers with a current unexpired AHA Basic Life Support electronic certification card, our renewal courses streamline the recertification process. The class lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours and includes video observation, hands-on skills demonstration, and a multiple-choice test. To obtain your electronic AHA BLS certification card, pass the test with at least 84%. Important Renewal Information: Only AHA Basic Life Support electronic certification cards are accepted for renewal. Cards from other organizations are not honored. Hands-On Skills Demonstration: Quick and Efficient Our in-person hands-on skills demonstration is a streamlined process, typically lasting no longer than one hour. Depending on your proficiency in compression delivery, ventilation, AED usage across various age groups (adult, infant, and child), as well as choking maneuvers for adults and infants, the demonstration can be as quick as 30 minutes. Our experienced instructors ensure that you master the essential skills efficiently. Certification Process: Two-Part Completion To obtain your official 2-year certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), our Blended Learning process involves two key steps: Complete the Online Portion: Thoroughly go through the online modules, covering all aspects of ACLS, BLS, or PALS. This allows you to learn at your own pace, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the material. Passing Hands-On Demonstration: Schedule an in-person session with one of our certified instructors to demonstrate your skills. Achieve a passing score of no less than 84% in the hands-on demonstration combined with the online portion to qualify for your official certification.
