Founded by Robin Lewis, a compassionate caregiver with a remarkable journey, CPR R US is more than just a training platform; it’s a testament to the power of dedication and the pursuit of excellence in life-saving techniques. With a background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and later, as a Respiratory Therapist, Robin’s passion for delivering quality care has shaped the foundation of CPR R US.

Robin’s early experiences as a CNA, providing personalized care and managing teams, instilled in her the importance of individualized care and the bonds formed with patients and their families. Two particularly touching experiences with patients on life support spurred Robin’s determination to understand the complexities of life support systems and mechanical ventilation fully.

This quest for knowledge led her back to school, where she became a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist, adept at initiating and managing life support and resuscitation techniques. As a Preceptor for Respiratory students, she honed her teaching skills, adapting her methods to suit different learning styles.

Robin’s journey took an exciting turn when she explored becoming a Basic Life Support Instructor through the American Heart Association. This new path marked the birth of CPR R US as the ideal platform for life-saving education.

Initially a mobile company, CPR R US utilized hotel conference rooms to host courses in First Aid CPR & AED and BLS. Within a year, our offerings expanded to include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS). Today, CPR R US boasts two physical locations in the St. Louis, Missouri area while retaining its mobile flexibility.
